Will an x4 pci-e slot bottleneck a video card?

hi guys i have crossfired 2 6770's but unfortunetly im seeing less performance. Could this be caused by the x4 slot?

It is a settings issue, although x4 supports CF it is not recommended it should though increase performance not decrease it.

If you just installed the second card did you reinstall the drivers?

ok my psu wasnt giving power to the second card for some weird reason so i switched the power to a 6 pin to molex adapter and it seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the quick response :)  (PS. I have a 750w PSU so not enough power isnt the problem)
