HAWK 5770 Crashing 5-10 mins after game starts

Hello All,

I've been having major issues with BF3, both in the beta, and now in Retail.

My video/computer will crash after about 5-10 minutes of solid playing. The GPU Temp
stays solid right at 75C throughout the entire game. I even keep the Clock at 850 to make
absolutely sure it wasn't that.

I'm on the new v3 11.10 AMD Drivers as well. I've tried every driver imaginable to get this stable,
and nothing seems to work. I've also taken the card out, cleaned everything, and am still getting
the exact same issue.

Checked cpu temps already? driversweeper'd the drivers before installing the new ones? Does it only happen with BF3 or other games aswell?

It seems to only happen with BF3, but my other games are not so graphic intensive (HoN)

I'll check the CPU temps this time.

CPU temps are stable at 65C in Prime95, don't think this is the issue. I'm seriously starting to think something is wrong with the Drivers/RAM, any ideas?

just tried going back to the AMD 8.XX drivers that are on the MSI HAWK website, but still had the problem after about 10 minutes of playing. The video crashes, the sound freezes, and you have to restart the system. I was monitoring the temps, and they never got above 73C, CPU never reached above 65C

Try downloading the demo of 3dmark11, if it doesn't crash with that, then the issue is definetly not on the hardware part.
