Hello all

Recently, my PC has been displaying strange behavior...about 1/3 of the time, when I turn it on, the fan, CPU LED and HD LED will turn on, but the computer will just sit and not finish booting. The monitor, although already turned on, remains "off", as though it is receiving no signal from the CPU. When this happens, neither the power switch nor the reset button on my computer function. My only solution is to kill the power on my power strip, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on.

I'm thinking this might be because my power supply is weak... I am still using the OEM power supply that came with my computer, and I have added several USB devices and a CD Burner since I got it.

Anyway, any ideas?

Thanks

I had the same thing, it happened once and that was it. No more motherboard. I had Asus replace my MB.
Exactly the same problem, word for word.
I am still searching why this happened.
The only thing I can see that is abnormal is the +12 volts that is 12.67. Has I stated previously in my post.
At least you can boot after several tries.
