I have a HP s5713w slimline desktop computer and I want to upgrade the video card mainly so that i have an hdmi port to connect my HDTV.. what is a good choice and under 100 bucks? I know that i can buy an adapter however its over 100 dollars for the adapter and i figure that i might as well upgrade the card for that kind of money but not sure what to get..I dont play many games or anything but might be nice to have the option.. thanks for any help!!

Having just researched your computer it looks like you have a 220w power supply , is that correct ? If it is then you may have to upgrade the power supply because the lowest power supply requirement I can find is 300w. So you will have to disregard the card I posted because it requires a 450w power supply.

If you choose to upgrade the power supply.

Also this one is a little cheaper and is 300w.

EVGA 512-P3-1311-KR GeForce 210 512MB 32-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card $34.99

With the 300w power supply upgrade and this card you will still be under $100.
The 400w power supply will alow you to get a better video card.
