Can I upgrade my CPU on this motherboard ???

Hey just wondering if i would be able to upgrade my CPU on this motherboard, nothing special just a better cpu cuz i thinking about buying new graphic card and with my slow p4 the video card will choke... so any suggestions beside building totally new PC???? :/

all you can put in there are the northwood p4s and the socket 478 prescott cores. The prescotts are terrible. you could overlcock if you havent already but thats about it as far as cpu upgrade for that board.

you'll have to check newegg, but i think they made 478 p4s to 3.6 (there was a 3.8 but i think they pulled that one) might be a good upgrade from a 2.0 cele, but don't bother if you are already 3.0+
