I've been looking around the forums and looked through a lot of threads but I can't get a general idea of what to buy. I'm helping a family member out and just need some advice on what parts to get. It just needs to be able to run Battlefield 3, doesn't have to be able to run on Ultra or High, just a good build for him to play on. Any help would be appreciated!

Ok, I followed the guide, but I just changed a few minor things.

CPU: Intel Core i5-2400
MB: MSI PH61A-P35
Ram: Corsair TW3X4G1333C9 ( 2 x 2GB)
Graphics: SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon HD 6870
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200 500 GB ST500DM002
