Would a Gigabyte 6770 silent be capable of playing

the silent cell card (i am assuming it's the one without the cooling fan) might get really hot during bf3 game play. make sure the card gets enough cool air through the heat sink fins. regularly check temp. during gameplay using a temp. monitoring software.
you can attach a fan to the heat sink to lower temperature.

IMO, u should take a 120mm fan and just attach it to the gigantic heatsink .
since it's designed to be passively cooled, having a giant blower on it just makes it that much better :D

Which way should the airfow of the fan go ? Should it pull heat away from the card , or blow down on the card ?
Thanks

Well with the 11.10 Preview 4 drivers I can play maxed out @ 1280 x 1024 @ about 45 FPS and 1290 x 720 about 57. I do have a slightly different model tho (Sapphire Radeon HD 6770)

I've got a 6790 which is very similar (obviously slightly more powerful) but at 1680x1050 with no AA (Post or Defered) I get 40-60+ FPS on Ultra settings. Depending on what is going on on screen.

Thanks guys , game plays really well . Graphics are much better than on the x-box , frame rate is pretty good , between 40 and 68 fps . Just amazing .
