Hi guys,

I've recently just order a GTX 560 1 GB for a friend (not TI version).

I'm just wondering, is this card any good for high end gaming? For example, will I be able to run BF3 on highest?

Thanks guys

Solution
If you are on severe budget constrain then I would suggest getting i5 2500k and 560ti/HD6950 insted of i7 2600k and 560.That would get you more frames rate in gaming.

At what res??What is your CPU??
At 1080p I think you won't be able to play at ultra with good fps. However at high settings you are good to go.Also the game is quite cpu dependent.
But in most of the other games except a few like metro2033,crysis2 you should get good fps at 1080p at highest settings.

Grub,

I just bought a 560 just a few days ago and played BF3 last night on the highest settings for about 6 hours :)

It should be just fine. Lower your settings if you feel you are not performing as well (of course), but the game will look and play amazing either way.

I own a 560 (not ti) and get very good frame rates on High settings. I know some players can tell but when I set to Ultra I can't tell the difference. For ~$190 I would highly recommend the 560 for use with BF3.

I have 2 x GTX 460 SOC (SLI) and can get 30 to 60 fps at ultra on 1920x1080

I prefer higher framerate so go with high settings which look very nice too - i can get up to 90/100fps on high, gives you some idea of the hit with ultra settings
