Nvidia Kepler

Hello, i've finally find out that the ivy bridge will be available march or april 2012. But what about nvidia kepler ?

I am planning building a new pc with a ivy bridge and a kepler.

So, when nvidia will launch their video cards ? On march/april as well ?

so far people speculate that we might see kepler earliest around march or Q2 2012. can't really say anything right now since rumor about kepler is almost non existent. so far nvidia only confirmed about low end parts of kepler which i believe is intended to be mobile part

I think they'll be out by February 2012.

Man i don't understand the thing, the AMD video cards the 7 series, have even the video cards specs, and nvidia can't announce some possible release date for the desktop keplers ?

I really hope that they will release it when the ivy comes out

PS: And that is with that TSMC company ? They make the chips with the nm and then AMD and Nvidia get it from them ? Or what ? Sorry noob here...

AMD and nVidia design and tape-out the cards, then outsource the actual manufacturing to TSMC.

amd and nvidia sends their chip design to TSMC to be manufactured. that's why if TSMC screw up with the node process it will be huge problem for both amd and nvidia.
