Choosing a gaming motherboard

hi Guys im building a new gaming pc and i am confused on what mother board to get.
here is my hardware at the moment
Intel I5 3570k
Asus 7970 GPU
2x King 4g ram
Dell Ultra Sharp

Im debating on the Asrock z77 Extreme 6 or the Asrock Extreme 4... which one and why...?

I would go for a Asus P8Z77 V or a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H

Asus ROG series(you can choose the model according your specs).

"Gaming" motherboard? Meaningless; the cheapest motherboard will allow you to play games. For the sake of quality, I would choose a board from Asus, ASRock, or Gigabyte.
OTOH, if you are interested in overclocking, and/or multiple graphics cards for Crossfire or SLI, then look for boards with a Z77 chipset, and more than one PCIe 3.0 slot.
