Can I mix 1GB & 2GB in my Toshiba laptop

I wan't to upgrade my memory but as the system is only 32bit the question is can I put 1GB in one slot and 2GB in the other .will this work?

I assume that you're talking about RAM. Provided that you can change parts for your laptop, adding a gig of memory of different speed and size would not work. That is why you don't see mixed size RAM kits for PCs.

Yes, you can. Some of the laptop has the 3GB RAM (1GB+2GB ) or 6GB RAM (2GB+ 4GB), check the link you can see them.

Yes, as cin19 quoted it will work if you mix memory sizes but make sure the memory are of the correct specifications.
