Like to contribute back to Toms Hardware. This is a great resource. I built my first computer in 15 years for trading. It works great. I picked the case and video card for quiet. SSD is speedy and quiet of course.

It is a 4 monitor setup for around 2K.

If someone wants to use this as a good starting place I know it all works.

CASE NZXT| H2 H2-001-WT
MB GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3
CPU INTEL|CORE I5 2500K 3.3G 6M
MEM 8Gx2|GSKILL F3-10666CL9D-16GBXL
CPU COOLER CM| RR-212E-20PK-R1
SSD 128G|CRUCIAL CT128M4SSD2
DVD BURNER ASUS | DRW-24B3LT
MS WIN 7 PRO SP1 64-BIT 1PK - OEM
(4) MONITOR ASUS|LCD 23" 2MS VH236H RT

All from Newegg, good service.

You could knock the price down a little by tweaking the CPU/No Addon Fan/ Window 7, cheaper multi graphic card, etc.

I just wanted people to know this is a very fast setup and very quiet.

Thanks again to all the experts who answer the hard questions.

Interesting case - did you try out that top-mount HDD dock on it?

You forgot to mention which GPU you are using.

Sorry, Durn cut and paste go me again.

GPU VGA_WS ATI| 100-505610 2460 512M

The ATI FirePro 2460 4 port is for business graphics not for gaming.

And I have not tried the drop in SATA in the top of case yet.

The only two mods I want to make are:
1. Intel NIC
2. 500 GB Internal Drive to put Windows Paging file, browser cache, etc on.

Fire Pro is a good choice - the prices are a lot more competitive for professional cards than Quaddros are.

You don't need the extra NIC - the one built into your motherboard will work fine.

The extra 500GB will definitely do some good in the long run but by the time you're ready to buy they should get the factories back online and the prices will go back down.
