Hi all. I'm looking to upgrade from my old 4GB OCZ ram to an 8GB kit. My main concern is compatilbility seeing that my motherboard is a bit older now. I'm running an i5-760 in it.

Can someone recommend or point me in the right direction for buying an 8GB kit that will work out of the box with my motherboard?

Also looking for a <$150 SSD that will work well with my motherboard also.

Your system has 4 x DIMMs which can take Max. 16 GB, DDR3 2200(O.C.)*/1600/1333/1066 Memory. so leaving 2200mhz modules we will be well enough with any 8 gb 1600 mhz kit.

yOU CAN GO FOR THIS ONE OR MANY MORE.... http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=355

For SSDS the search is easy. You can pick up a nice one from newegg or amazon as you have a USB 3.0 .Most standard SSds will wok

Are you OCed at all? That will probably be needed to run 1600, try booting to BIOS w/ a single stick and manually set the DRAM to 1333, 9-9-9-27 and 1.55
