Best GPU for my friend

So, my friend just got into PC gaming and wanted me to build his computer, but some of his parts are a little outdated.
He can only afford a GPU, so in here lies the question:
What is the best GPU for his Computer? Specs:

Phenom ii x3 710 CPU @ 2.6ghz

1360x768 res monitor

2x4GB RAM

I dunno bout his psu, but people say it's 60 watts, so I might ask him to get a new PSU, but for right now, just focus on the GPU.

So, What is the best GPU for this comp? He wants to be able to play BF3 on medium atleast.

600 watts, sorry. His budget is ~$200.

honestly, you need to know what psu he has before recommending a gpu. otherwise you may install the gpu and blow the psu. Its not going to be 60w or it would have blown up already, please check.

wow, snuck in there just as I posted. What brand of PSU? will he continue to use that low res monitor? if so a 6770 would do a good job at that resolution.

okay, the PSU brand is Antec. He doesn't want more that his monitor for now, but plans to upgrade in 7-8 months(he is only 15, so he doesnt have a job).

He said that if those give hime great performance he'll sacrifice a new monitor for a new xfire mobo.
