Different manufacturers?

Hey everyone,

I have a 6950 (2GB) from VisionTek. I've been playing BF3 and haven't been getting the desired frames and am considering to buy another 6950 and crossfire them. But I'm a little puzzled as I'm hearing different answers with my question.

The question is: Can I crossfire and use the 2 GPU's without any issues if they manufactured by different companies?

Yes it is fines as long as they are the same model (HD6950 in your case)

Make sure it is the 2GB model or else your current card will run at 1GB also when you crossfire.
