RIMM Upgrade

I have a Dell system I use in my lab and it has the overpriced RIMM memory in it. I am trying to upgrade the memory in it, but the prices for RIMM modules vs DIMMs is just plain sick.

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy regular 133Mhz DIMM memory and put it in some form of DIMM-->RIMM adapter. If so can I mix the memory types or do I buy two DIMMs and adapters and toss the RIMM module (Still cheaper!)

Thanks ALOT for any help you can give!

  1. I believe there is, but do they make those anymore after that i820 recall? I'm not sure.
