Hey guys, I'm hoping you can help me get my dual monitors set up.

I have this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125383&Tpk=GV-N56GOC-1GI

I have these monitors:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236049
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824116381

When plugged in individually to the primary dvi port, both monitors work. The HDMI port doesn't seem to work at all. When both plugged in at the same time, the monitor on the primary port works, but the other monitor doesn't work.

I have tried nvidia driver v285.62. I tried uninstalling that and installing v266.44 which is the latest driver that Gigabyte's site lists. When the system rebooted, both monitors came on for a second and then the secondary monitor shut off again.

Windows 7, 64 bit.

Please help!

Thanks for the reply. I have used DVI on both. And in that case, whichever monitor is plugged into the primary DVI port gets the output, and the other monitor doesn't get anything.

Not using VGA adapters. Both monitors using DVI.
I have tried plugging into secondary DVI port with no luck.

I upgraded drivers to latest and greatest on nvidia's site, and that didn't help. I downgraded drivers to latest listed on Gigabyte's site, and when the system rebooted, the second monitor came up for about 10 seconds then shut down again.

I will try downgrading to whatever version is on the driver disk.

I'm almost certain it's a driver issue. Gigabyte tech support went through a bunch of stuff with me and finally recommended an RMA. Which I did. But the new card has the same issue.

This is the second gigabyte card. I RMA'd the first one at the suggestion of the manufacturer.

1. I haven't tried a VGA cable, yet.
2. I will try a clean driver install, again.
3. Neither windows screen resolution, nor nvidia control panel, detect the second monitor.

Thanks for your reply!
