Hi today I got a new motherboard (a gigabyte)... I hooked everything up correctly to the motherboard (using the manuals and guides that came with each product) and I flip the switch for my PSU (which is a RS-400-PSAR-J3 460 Cooler Master) and nothing happens... I am quiet confused about this and start looking more closely at the Motherboard. 5 seconds later there is this great amount of sparks and shortly after a little bit of smoke... I quickly yank the cord out and now I am sitting here wondering what the hell happened... So I wanted to ask what should I do from here? Is the motherboard fried? As well as the ram/video/hdd?

Thanks

Specs:
Gigabyte ga-970A-UD3
4 gigs of ddr3 cosair ram
HD Radeon 5750
amd athlon II x3
Cooler Master 460 watt

You have a 66% chance: either the power surge made it to the motherboard and eradicated it or it didn't and your motherboard is safe or the motherboard got hit and it is resilient enough to take the blast.

it says it's a "Ultra Durable" motherboard... hopefully it's the latter :d
