hey guys .. i started building my new pc last night for the first time and every thing gone ok 
but when i started to connect the 2 sata cables that came with the motherboard (asrock Z77 extreme 4 ) to my ssd and hdd i accidently broke the cliper on one of them 
so i removed it (the metal piece ) and plugged it in .. now one side (on the hdd) is fine but the other end on the motherboard doesn't have a cliper but it's hocked up very well well the cable word just fine ? or do i have to buy a new one ?
