Phenom 975 vs phenom 980

hi so i am planning to buy a phenom cpu but i want to know if spending extra 15 dollars for phenom 980 is worth it. I have an aftermarket hsf so if i overclock phenom 975 to 4.0, does it perform same as phenom 980 with stock clock?

They are the same cpu, just raise multiplier on 975 and you will got 980(Of course you can go further) for same money, and spend those 15$ wisely on something else
