Will an 8GB stick module be compatible with Asus P8Z77V Pro and i7 3770K? How about populating all the slots with four 8GB sticks?

yes it will work for both.
all current gen and last gen motherboards will support 8GB dimms. actually you have to go back probably 5 generations to find that support lacking.

Yes it will work, I think the question is does it provide value? I have 32 gigs of ram in my system, and i have never seen windows ever use more than 6gbs. Thats with games and movies and email and an access database running and so on.

32 gigs of ram is fun for making a 20 gig ram drive and running a game from it. All levels and matches load in like 1 second, but ram drives come with thier own challenges.

thanks guys! I'll be using it for After Effects. currently I'm using 16gigs 4x 4GB and AE uses about 12.9gigs while the rest are reserved for system. I think I will go with Kingston HyperX 8GB sticks.
