Ivy Bridge with LGA 1155

Hi, I have an LGA 1155 based motherboard (z68). I read somewhere that the new Ivy Bridge CPUs will have the 1155 socket. Will the new CPU run on a P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 motherboard? I'm just wondering because the mobo supports PCI-e 3.0, but the i5/i7 2xxx processors don't.

yes that board will support ivy bridge

might need to update to the latest bios

The H61, H67, P67 and Z68 chipsets are supposed to be compatible with Ivy Bridge.

Yes, it will support IB CPU's provided you have updated the BIOS to rev 3202 or later.
