Do I have to uninstall the old driver before I update to the new driver? If so,

I am not changing my card. I need to update my driver because the video editing program I'm using doesn't like the installed driver. Do I need to uninstall the current driver before I install the new driver? If so, please provide a step by step process as I'm not a computer guru. Running on Win 7. Thanks

When you update it will probably ask if you want to do a clean install, say yes.
Also you can use driversweeper before installing the new ones.

1.Reboot in safe mode.
2.Use driver sweeper to clean all traces of previous driver.
3.reboot normally.
4.Install new driver.
5. reboot and done
