Hi all I was hoping to shed some light on my issue.
My specs,

Intel DX38BT
intel core 2 extreme x6800
g skill f3-10666cl7d 2x 2GB
Geforce gtx 560 ti

DVI and HDMI black screen

I had flashed the bios with,
BTX3810J.86A.2006.EB.EXE 80% sure
or
BTX3810J.86A.1397.EB.EXE
And it said it was successful.

not sure at this point which one.
This is odd because they both show
up when i look for intels
updates for my board. Maybe
it doesn't matter which one of its
bios updates i use, maybe the bios defaulted
to hardware setting i do not have. Like my cpu
only supports 1066, and my ram is 10666 and 1333.
It ran fine until flashed it. Do i need a new board or cpu?
Can you help me Plz.

O yeah i forgot to say my motherboard tester shows an error code 25

I know i probably look like a newbie. I am not though, just not sure why the heck this isn't working for me. I have followed all the steps to the T no go. This is unused stuff there should be no way that any of it has failed. The guys at Intel are telling me to do what i have done already. I am positive now that i used the 2006 version. What should i do now? or am i doing somthing wrong, some step i have missed.

I found this thread at Intels site,

http://communities.intel.com/message/70871#70871

maybe this is my problem. I try to run the comp without
mem it just turns on then off then on over and over again 0-o
my motherboard tool points to mem problems, but my cpu
doesn't support ddr3 10600. i looks like my board is ok
just need a cpu that runs with ddr3 1333 0r ddr3 10600?
bummer, do i by parts for a board that may be dead or just
replace it with a board of the same kind. when it may not
be broke!

I fixed it! I had spent hours looking online about my board and noticed comments about putting the comp into config mode.
witch i didn't do yet 0-o....lol I had noticed this little red light come on near the ram, so i googled it and low and behold,
another guy with the same board with a bios issue showed up lol. cool cool no broken rig for me :) just a shot os that i am going to recover tomorrow.
Thx all.
