Hi, its my first post here, and my english is average. Im from Quebec city, so please be cooll. Iim building my new computer right now and i dont know what to buy. 2700k with the asus extreme 4 or the msi big bang with the six cores 3930. Do the socket 2011 worth the extra cash? I have a 2 or 3 way sli of 680 in mind with a corsair 1200watts psu and 16 gb of corsair vengeance 1600mhz memory. I know the 2500k can do the job, but i can afford the 2700k. Thank u in advance! :D

You could go with the 3930k. The 2700k is just the same as the 2600k with a slightly higher base clock, for more money.

So either go with the 2600k or 3930K and have fun with overclocking. Just note that the six cores won't do anything in games. If you don't do anything (or much) else with your rig, the 2600k will be fine and you can spent more on another graphics card.
