Hello,
I am attempting to replace my RAM and at the same time upgrade from 4gb to 8gb.
Existing: Kingston KHX1333C7D3K2/4G
New : Kingston KHX1333C9D3B1K2/8G
With the new RAM in situ the system does not boot.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Did you reset CMOS after installing the new ram?

Hello Rolli59.
In a word - no.
Should I install the new modules and then reset CMOS before powering up ?
