I need some expert help with weird link behavior

Really just a good explanation will do.

Take for example this URL

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236075

Now, if I mouse over this I might see the correct URL displayed at the bottom.

OR, occasionally I see a weird URL that involves something about outboundlink.us .... even though the BBC code checks out.

If I click on the link I end up at the front page of newegg.ca with this URL, placed in the code box in case there is a security issue:

[cpp]
http://www.newegg.ca/?nm_mc=AFC-C8junctionCA&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-homepage-_-na-_-na&AID=10593543&PID=3463938&SID=4fqfnhvw9u
[/cpp]

HOWEVER if I copy and paste the URL into the browser I end up at the right place. Also very rarely I seem to end up at the right place by clicking.

And the last thing. If I mouse over the link once, this message displays at the bottom of the browser until I navigate away or view a different tab.

Is this google analytics doing all this? Now that I have typed this out it seems to have settled down somewhat, although I still can't just click a newegg.ca link. It's done that before though and I think the issues will return. Looks like I need to fire up noscript again.
