Who Selected Best Answer?

Just got this link sent to me http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/567-63-does-dx11#t52024 , Why ? and who selected the best answer as it wasnt me. I would love to select best answers but i dont have a clue how to. there is no obvious button or link.

By looking at the link, it looks like it was an email that got lost in the system by Tom's and probably was re-sent to your email.

As for the best answer selection, an Moderator could've selected the best answer, which has been done many times in the past to show the thread. Now it shows who selected the best answer but at that time, it would not show who selected the best answer.

The best answer was selected by a moderator. That's why you're getting the notification.

You can select a best answer on a question type thread that you open, not discussion. When there is a repsonse to the thread, you should see a link on each post to select it as best answer.
