Hi their,

I am just looking some advice on two items i want to purchace too see if they are compatible with each other.

I really like the look of the ASRock 970 Extreme4 link below:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970%20Extreme4/?cat=Memory

And im just wondering if this ram is compatible with this ASRock mobo at 4x 8gb (32gb):
http://www.dabs.com/products/corsair-16gb--2x8gb--ddr3-...

I will be running the AMD FX8-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8 Core .

* and just another question, i am building this PC for Avid and After Effects work, do you think it is a good build for this purpose. Thanks :)

Memory is supported with that mobo.

I think that cpu will be good enough for you. But if you want very high performance and serious work, then go with intel.
