can't sign in internet after router is setup.

What actually happens here? Does teh router show a connection to the Net or is the DSL light not showing up? Have you set a security key and entered it into the computer? Can you connect when the router is wired to the computer?

I solved the problem, I had to disable the antivrus to setup router and internet connection was established. The advertised connection is 108 but the connection is 54. I replaced the router and it had 108.
New router wndr3700 netgear and old router wpn824. I confirmed the settings were correct. Any ideas ?
