X-Meridian High Definition

Is this sound card worth the price and do auzentech still support their products with drivers? I heard they have gone down hill as a company, and its not easy to find auzentech products other than amazon.

I put the X-Meridian in the same class of audio cards as the ASUS Xonar D2(X) and HT Omega Claro+. Its basically another C-Media CMI-8788 varient. That being said, its the newest chipset of the group, so I'd recommend it ahead of the other two cards.

Worst case, you can use either the generic C-Media drivers or the Xonar Unified Drivers [which works fine for C-Media cards] if Auzentech stops supporting it.
