okay i have some questions maybe u can help me with

i currently have this computer its the dell demension e521

i bought a new (mobo)

I know i need a new case so im going to buy off of newegg

i already have ddr3 ram to put in it
and i would like to use the hardrive and dvd burner from the e521

also i would like to know with the power supply that it has in it could i use it on that motherboard its only a 305w or do i have to upgrade that
and the videocard i am putting in it is

Is your current PSU working with the 240 in it now?

DELL loves to cheap out on PSUs and give people exactly the minimum they need so upgrades often require new PSUs at the same time.

The GT 240 is using some pretty old hardware so it is potentially more energy sucking than newer cards with similar power.

The old parts should all still work like the DVD drive and Hard Drive and so on.
