I have an Asrock 939A785GMH/128M MoBo which happens to supposedly have Hybrid CrossfireX capabillity, and it has onboard HD4200 gfx. I use an XFX HD6870 1GB for my gfx. Shouldn't i be able to Crossfire these? Not critical really, the 6870 is fine, but it seems nice to get a little boost, and to know the 4200 isn't going to waste. AMD's Vision Control Center--no longer "Catalyst" apparently--seems to recognize the onboard gxf and install the proper driver for them, but it offers no option for Crossfire in the settings. Is there any thing i can do? What am i missing?

just finished doing a hybrid crossfire with a GA-A75-D3H motherboard and a Sapphire HD 6570 pci-e 2g ddr3 card
and its working quite well so far
just make sure you have your bios set so that your on board video boots first if you dont do that than windows will only see the card video and catalyst vision center will automatically start crossfire if i can see both the on-board and pci-e card

Your configuration is supported by design. But OP is requested for 785G(Radeon HD 4200 onboard) and Radeon HD 6870 combination, which is unsupported in official documents.

If someone know how to break the restriction of Hybrid Crossfire, please let me know. I want to try it on my 790GX/5870 config. :)
