I just ordered a Logitech zero tilt keyboard and an MX500 mouse, but then i started to think about what would be best for my hands and wrists. I'm a musician so I'm careful about that stuff. Someone mentioned that the Logitech design causes RSI, but everyone else seems to say it's comfortable. And I hear trackballs are better for your body too, but I've never used one, can anyone comment on the usability of a trackball? And recommend one, I wouldn't know where to start. Can you game with them? Anyone use those Microsoft/Logitech style keyboards? Do they help? Can you game with them? I think the Logitech one you can only get in a combo.

Thanks

hiya, i cant really comment on those ergonomic keyboards, but just consider that that is exactly what they are - ergonomic, unlike the standard "straight" ones. Trackballs are within my bounds though, they take a bit of getting used to, but when you go back to a mouse you really can tell the difference - the trackballs are far more comfortable. Yes, you can use them for gaming just as easily as a mouse - i'd deffinately recommend them. i have a kensington orbit elite (it was about £20, $30?) and its great. i'd certainly recommend the kensignton orbit series, rather than those silly microsoft ones.

anyway, thats it. hope it helps.

oh, just as an after-thought. RSI only really affects those that are using mice/keyboards all day long. my friends father contracted it because he was a graphic designer and it was his job to operate a nasty mouse all day long. if you just using it for like 2 hours a day at home, then i dont think you've got anything to worry about.
