HI community !
I do have a server running for IP cameras with an ASUS P9X79 motherboard and an ASUS GT610-2GD3-CSM NVIDIA GT610 graphic card.

THe HDMI output feeds a 50" flat screen tv as a display .

Now every time the TV is turned off longer than 15 minutes and I turn the TV back on ,
it does not recognize the HDMI feed from the server and I have to plug out and in to "wake up" the
signal.

Windows 8 as OS

Thanks for any help , I am at the end of my own thoughts

It is the power saving modes in either your TV or PC.

For the PC go to control panel>power optios>under the plan, go change plan settings>change advanced power settings>display, click the (+)>turn off display after>set it to never, then apply.

For the TV check the manual how to trun off the power saving mode.

Thanks cin19 for help !
THe TV has a energy saving mode that has been turned off and on the Pc also the display is set to never, this is why I am stuck.
I do have a 30 ft HDMI run with HDMI over CAT5 , I am currently looking into the affect, but still the HDMI outlet shows that power is up on the HDMI.

The HDMI outlets can be powered and are via CAT5 , the TV is a monitoring TV with a run to the server, there is no relocation of any of the equipment possible.

I will power the HDMI injectors up and will see if there is any difference.

Thanks for you input !
