Windows 7 assertion failure

Hello,
I have an assertion failure for the first time on a new laptop, Win 7, using Wavelab. If I "ignore" the software seems to work ok - so can I ignore it or will there be unfortunate consequences down the line some time?

Set Windows 7 for Windows XP for Wavelab should work perfectly.
