I need help in finding a progam that will tell me the temps of my CPU, Graphics Card, and MOBO, also would like it to display fan speeds if possible. Does anybody have a suggestion on where to find a progam that does this?

Speedfan displays your cpu temps, fan speeds, and hardware temps. You may need to customize it. As for the gpu temps, I'd go with Rivatuner, which also let's you overclock and has many other functions.

Speedfan does the CPU and mobo and HDD temps as well as fans, not sure about video card temps though. What CPU are you using? Speedfan (and many programs) may report your CPU temp 15C lower than it is depending on what CPU you have. If this is the case, you can manually offset the temps or get the latest beta.

EDIT: Beaten, damn. :)

I downloaded Speedfan 4.33. It says Temp1: 36C with a with a blue arrow pointing down. Temp2: is 39C with a green check. HD0: 34C with a green check mark. Core: 45C with a green check mark. Ive also got some other temps but they just say Temp and 2 read 126C and the other reads 64C with a FIRE beside them. Any clue is to which each temp represents?

Ok, no problem with that 15C then.

Core would be your CPU temp, Temp 1 or 2 is motherboard and maybe the power circuitry (not sure which) if there is a sensor on that. The 126C is some wacked reading that you can ignore (some people get negative readings even). You probably can't find out your video card temp because I don't think older cards like that had thermal diodes. The 64C temp may also be an erratic reading, but it seems on the upper end of the reasonable scale.

Thanks for the help! I also have a question that maybe you could help me with also. My graphics card is 128 MB and a 256 Bit. I just bought a GeForce 8600GTS with a 512 MB memory and 128 bit. Will I be able to notice a big change with the way my games run? I also have 1Gig of Pc3200 Ram in my PC right now.
THANKS AGAIN!

Yes the 8600GTS, although not top of the line, is a superior card. Depending on the game it could be at least 2x faster or more. What games do you play? One thing though, isn't your motherboard AGP? There is no AGP 8600GTS that I know of, only PCI Express.

I know its PCI 16x. Im currently updating my system a few peices at a time. I play World of Warcraft, Medal Of Honor, Doom 3, Call of Duty 4. Things like that. My computer cant handle all of the new games, (or atleast i dont think it can, havent bought any to really see).
Here is what i just bought:
EVGA 512-P2-N773-AR GeForce 8600GTS 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400C4 - Retail
RAIDMAX RX-600F ATX12V / EPS12V 600W Power Supply - Retail - Only because is 30 dollars on sale right now!
These are my next purchases:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Windsor 3.0GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM2 125W Dual-Core Processor
ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive.
What do you think!?

Yeah I'm not aware of any AGP versions of the 8600gts, so I hope he's not expecting miracles :(

I don't like the power supply, raidmax power supplies aren't very good. Though the system will probably not draw enough power to cause it to show it's evil side. You don't need to spend money on an SLI board if you don't plan on running SLI either.

More or less, the PC i am using now is my first built computer (3 years ago in August). Ive hit a few snags along the way, such as: mother board sound unit dosent work anymore, blew a power supply that came with my cheapy case :), and here recently, while playing games, the bottom of my screen is all discolored and sometimes it just goes black. I alt tab out of the game and my destop is unreckognizable. So im not really sure what to expect from what i am going to buy. I know when i was using my dads old HP Pavilon, well, lets just not go there! :)

What would be a good alternative board then what i have picked out?
I was reading reviews for that PSU, havent had any really scary reviews so..

I didnt figure i would need anything over 400 or so for my system but its reguarly like 80 dollars, its got a 50 dollar mail in rebate on it so its on its way!

Not too bad on the build, but did you already order them? PSU should be okay for the 8600gts, but it's not on the favored list of PSU manufacturers. I have a 420w Raidmax running a x1800xt on a single core 3200+, 2 gig's DDR 3200, 2 DVD's, 1 HD and has been okay up to this point (2 years old). I bought this when I wasn't informed like I am today, so I wouldn't of bought it then if I knew what I know now.
The only few things that I would've changed was to drop down on the CPU and get a 3850 or 3870 GPU instead of the 8600gts, but that is me. You'd get better gaming on a 3850/3870 and a x2 3800 or better CPU.

Edit:
Also I'd get a different mobo, since it doesn't look like your going to SLI or Xfire. You could get this mobo instead:
MSI K9A2 CF-F AMD Phenom Socket AM2+ 2000 MHz PC2-8500 (DDR2-1066) ATX Motherboard Retail
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10007272
$92 shipped and is Phenom friendly, since you might want to upgrade later next year or whenever.

The board is 124.99. I ordered the Video Card, Memory and PSU so far. I can just send it back as DOA and pick up a good PSU. I never knew it was on the black list!

Lunyone he already bought the 8600GTS, otherwise I would have suggested a HD3850 too.

I'm not familiar with AM2 boards, so someone else will have to help there. I suggest you avoid the Nforce 5x0 chipset because I don't think it supports Phenom should you want to upgrade later.

"Lunyone he already bought the 8600GTS, otherwise I would have suggested a HD3850 too. "
Why would you suggest that card vs the one i ordered?

I guess i should have come here first before i made my selections!
I was happy with my purchase last time, so im trying to stick with the brands i have now.
Also, "The only few things that I would've changed was to drop down on the CPU and get a 3850 or 3870 GPU instead of the 8600gts, but that is me. You'd get better gaming on a 3850/3870 and a x2 3800 or better CPU. "
How much better gaming are we talking about? Just minimal stuff or like 20+ FPS stuff.
Also does the memory interface have to do alot with the speed of the card?

Probably about $30-$40 more than the one you bought. The 8600gts isn't a bad card, just that for similar $ you could have the 3850 which is much better.

Well, the Radeon HD 3870 is priced around 244.99
My card is 159.99 after mail-in rebate.

Will i need some serious air flow thru my case if i decide to grab the HD3870?
My case im getting has a 80 up top, 80 exhaust fan. 80 side fan with extra vent.

I have 3 80 case fans on my current machine i could rob off!
