On a HP pavilon h6 Rainbow lines...

When starting up the laptop, the whole screen is filled with vertical lines, that have different colors. Almost like rainbow colors. It does not go away.

It is an HP pavilion h6 laptop, 2 years old. It has windows 7. I do not make this topic for me, but for a friend. He can't use his laptop anymore...

I hope I'll get some help. That would be really appreciated.

Hmmm. . . . ofcourse maybe there is a problem in vga card
