My router switches on with the wrong IP address and I can only get it to the correct address by Disabling the connection and enabling it again. The connection has suddenly prevented me disabling with a message "It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. The connection is being used by one or more protocols ........"
I am not running anything else apart from PC Tools virus and Spyware.
What is the "wrong" address that you get and what is the "correct" one? What model router and how is it configured?
What connection are you trying to disable? This a wired or wireless connection? Do you have ICS setup on the computer? If this is wireless, are you sure you are connected to the right acceess point and not a neighbor's?
