Which Best Memory for Gaming

I'm planning to upgrade my 4gb RAM to 8gb RAM in fact is I don't know what type of memory and brand will I buy? can you please help me what memory should I buy that is completely for gaming and can sustain many applications at the same time? but I'm going to upgrade my Palit GeForce 210 1GDDR3 to Asus GeForce GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II Top Edition 2GGDR5, and I know that higher GPU needs higher memory.
