Need Help: Continuous Beep

i have an acer g45t motherboard and it only handles 8 gig of ram i am trying to update it to 8 gig to get rid of a lag issue and now i start up and all i get is a continous beep i bought 2 4gig 1333 sticks of ram the board is suppose to be able to handle this what am i doing wrong?

About the beep:
This is usually caused by a problem with the system memory, or possibly the video card. The memory is more likely--the system complains long and loud if it can't find any usable memory, as there is no way to even start the boot process when this is the case. The motherboard itself could also be the problem.

Recommendation:
The Acer g45t can hold a maximum of 8 gbyte of memory and the memory slots a max of 2 Gbyte per slot. Maybe you can switch those memory banks at the shop for 4x 2 Gbyte?
