Long time lurker, but I've never posted. Now I am stuck with such a specific question that I don't know how else to get the answer I'm looking for. So, I go to the people that are the best with PCs that I know of - you fine people! So here it is...
I am an avid gamer and play lots of games. Recently, I became hooked on SW:TOR and found out that my CPU is not going to cut it ( athlon X2 235e ) so I am going to be upgrading BIG later this year. However, I have found a good deal that I could afford and the two chipsets are listed above
i5 2320 @ 3Ghz
vs.
1090t x6 @ 3.2Ghz
The ram for the 1090 would be running at 1600 and the i5 would be at 1333 ( don't ask - it's just what I can afford right now ). My current video card is a Radeon 5770.
The i5 would cost about 40 bucks more, but the place I would be buying from says that the 1090 would be the better deal overall and would get overall better performance. Please... help me out here!
