Hey I've actually had an AMD A6-3500 Processor. The A6-3500 comes stock running at ~2.1GHz and you can (1 click overclock it to ~2.4GHz)
I personally used an MSI A55M-P33 motherboard, so i just used the bios and overclocked it to a lot of different speeds, eventually up to ~4.0GHz but at that speed i couldn't really tell a change.

So if you have a stock cpu cooling fan on your a6-3500, overclocking it from ~2.1ghz to ~2.8ghz is just perfection.
