Gtx 560 ti for 1680x1050 resolution

sup guys, right now i have a hd 5850, but i want to give it to my bro since he is buying a new rig but has no money for a good gpu, my budget is like $350.

I dont want to spend it all if its not necessary, so will you recommend that card or something better for my resolution?

560 Ti should be ample, but yeah maybe you could hold off till Jan-Feb for a nice shiny new Nvidia 600-series or Radeon 7000-series.

Why not just settle for something like a 6950/560, to cut the next few months and get yourself the new ones when they come? I mean, seriously no point making a serious investment now...unless of cource you really have to.
