My pc shut down unexpectedly and now shows a blue screen

Hello, I was just on the internet last night when my computer (which was running pretty slowly) just shut down by itself. Now when I try to turn it back on either in safe mode or normally, all it shows is a blue screen with the mouse. The mouse is responsive but nothing else seems to work, there's no way of getting any options and there's nothing to click on. I am no good with computers and I have no idea what to do! Any suggestions?

You'll need to provide your full system specifications. Please include the brand and model, not just wattage, of your PSU. Sudden shutoffs (rather than crashes) are often power-related.
