Use HTPC as wired and wireless router

Hello,

My current router cant handle the huge amount of connections associated with torrents. I want to have my HTPC to dual as a wired and wireless router and my htpc.

My HTPC is currently running Windows 7, 64x operating system.

Any help would be appreciated.

What is your bandwidth that you are paying for?

Sounds like a limitation with your ISP not the wifi

My download is 3.5 MB/s and upload is 0.7 MB/s. I originally thought that as well, so i plugged my modem directly to my htpc: i got a steady 3.5MB/s the entire time.

My router will also drop my dns when the connections get a bit to excessive.
