Display Blinking

I have a Gigabyte 945 mobo. It has been working fine for me for last few years.
But now my display blinks after few seconds like there is no display for few secs and then display comes and then again goes off.
Monitor is alright and so is the cable.
What could be the fault ?

If you are sure the monitor is OK, try use the onboard GPU or other GPU.
