Hi, Thnaks for the reply and the link. I'm not that techicnal so I guess putting it in the oven is out of the question. I'l contact HP and see what I can get out of them but I doubt if the recall is still on :-( Looks like a costly repair or a new laptop. Thanks. Upvote 0 Downvote
