Hello,
i have an alienware laptop model no.766sn3 i was told that the mother board was fried my question is will it be cheaper to keep and fix or should i just sell it as is i really dont have the time to fix it please someone give me some advice or make an offer

If you don't have time to fix it, also I think it don't worth to fix it. I think the cost to fix will be or maybe as same as the money that you can buy the new laptop. So you just sell it as is on ebay if you can. Good luck.
