Hello! I'll be buying a new machine soon, and for now i'm going with the EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB. However, I am unsure of which monitor should I chose; a 20" 1600x900 or a 21'5" 1920x1080. I want to play mainly new games on high fps (40+). I've seen some benchmarks from Battlefield 3 and it runs at 53fps on high @ 1920x1080. In 1 or maybe 2 years I plan to SLI the GTX 560 Ti.

I am thinking that maybe the performance boost from the 1600x900 will be more noticeable than the visual awesomeness from the 1920x1080.

Also, do you guys think a SLI on the GTX 560 Ti would be an overkill at 1600x900? Note that I plan to keep the pc for at least 4 years, so I want games still running well in 2015. :)

Here's the config, if anyone wants to know:

Core i5 2500k
G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 8GB
Asus P8Z68-V
Corsair TX850W

Get the bigger and higher resolution monitor. In fact, I have a 25" 1920x1080 and I love it. Either way, you will be glad you got a monitor that runs 1080 native resolution do not even consider anything less in a new monitor.
